My friend Shannon has encouraged me to try making my own blog! I just wanted to put my comments into my own blog now that I have one. Our church family suffered a great "loss" Friday, Oct 5th. Aaron McCoy was a great friend, Sunday school teacher, witness for the Lord, Father, Husband, Brother, Son etc. He made an impact on so many lives. The line to his visitation Tuesday night was amazing. We will always remember his beautiful smile that was the outward sign of what was in his heart. He was full of Joy and Love for Christ which was obvious if you ever got a chance to meet him. I will hold tight to the memories I have of his friendship. Our prayers are with the family (Christina, his wife, Samuel, Chandler, Laynie and Bennett, his kids) and his 2 sisters, 1 brother and parents and all of those many loved ones that are mourning his departure. I like the word "departure" better than "loss". As our pastor said at Aaron's funeral yesterday, he is not lost, we know exactly where he is. He is rejoycing with our Lord Jeses Christ in Heaven and we can all look forward to being reunited with him again someday! I hold on to Romans 8:28 for comfort. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." http://www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com/show.php?id=1142

Look at you go girl! Great blog so far. Just don't be cutting in on my bloggin....just kidding!
I agree with you and Steven in that we've not 'lost' Aaron. He's just gone somewhere else for a while. 'I can only imagine.' It only makes me long for 'home' even that much more. We have a big job ahead of us in holding up Christina and the kids. Circumstances such as this always seem to make you love a little harder. Thanks for all you do for the church and for our class. You have such a sweet heart and I love ya!
